Project Symbis

• Why you may love them: The clear, catchy dance and breaks produced by Symbis hid a relationship between both artists that was wrought with struggle. Jared Newby and John Perez collaborated together to form Symbis for a short six months. Just a year after the imprisonment of Perez, the project ended abruptly with the death of Jared. The tracks the two collaborated on were given to Perez following his release, while the tracks Jared produced alone as Symbis were kept a part of Trochlear Recordings under the name "Project Symbis".
